Renault Espace Range

The current generation Espace confirms why Renault is King of the people carrier builders. It's big, roomy and well thought out. It does all the tricks you'd expect a people carrier to do, like have seats that fold and remove, lots of clever storage bins and the ability to carry seven people. But Espace does it with panache and an impressive level of sophistication.

All Espace models come with air conditioning and electric windows. The high seating position makes access to the first two rows easy, and getting into the third row is easier than ducking into the back of a three-door car. One of the options available is a full-length glass roof which helps brighten the already airy interior. Seats are individually sculpted and score well for comfort and can slide to vary the amount of leg room offered.

One of only a handful of MPVs with a five-star Euro NCAP rating. All the usual safety features, plus curtain airbags on all three rows of seats. Security consists of shielded deadlocks, electrically-assisted de-clutching steering lock, card-entry system and marked parts.
